I use these slim ice packs regularly for meal prep and they work great. The single pack keeps things cool for about 4 hours — pop in a couple, and you get even more cooling time. I love how slim they are—they don’t take up much space in my lunch cooler, unlike bulky blocks. After 1.5 months of daily use, I’ve had zero leaks, and the quality is solid. Definitely a great value for the price!

I must concur with many previous reviewers — there's a distinct trade-off between form and function, here, but Fit & Fresh Cool Coolers are a good solution for the right applications. Fit & Fresh's Cool Coolers are perfectly sized to include in a sandwich box or cram into a tight lunch pack, but because of their small size and the high ratio of surface area to interior, they do thaw faster than many "ice brick" products. That's worth considering when you're packing your food. That said, I am still quite happy with them. My husband, a physical therapist who specializes in clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, travels quite a bit on some days to meet his clients at their day centers. His lunches may sit in a hot car for most of the day, so keeping them cold is a priority. I pack his lunches in a well-insulated soft-sided baby bottle cooler (Childress brand, from Amazon — I bought it specifically to use as a lunch box because of its shape and excellent insulation); he puts one of these cooler bricks in before he leaves in the morning. He likes hot lunches, so any leftovers presumably are still warm when he puts them back in the bag. A single Cool Cooler brick will be thawed but still cold when he returns home; leftovers, too, will be cold. That suggests better staying power than I'd expect. In short, I wouldn't rely on one of these to cool food in an uninsulated bag all day, though I imagine you can increase cooling time by adding more Cool Coolers, if you have room. They are not quite as effective as thicker ice bricks. However, they fit nicely into tight spaces where rocket bricks don't and will keep food at a safe temperature inside an insulated bag for several hours. They also don't take up much space in the freezer, which is nice.

I needed a solution for keeping my cooler bag as cold as possible without ice melting and sloshing around inside my bag. Found this ice pack that comes in a pack of 4. I like its slim design with holes in the middle for holding and carrying. A pack of 4 ice packs for less than $10 is a very good deal. It's not too small and not too big. They're very light and not heavy at all. I can put these along all four walls of a cooler to make sure things stay cold. I love how these do not leak, bend, or melt as opposed to using ice cubes so they are definitely durable. Kept my drinks and food cold throughout the day. Super easy to pop into the freezer and use them again in the future. Highly recommend.

Cute ice packs, thin and compact, easy to fit in any size lunch pail. I use them for my son as well as myself. They are still cool at the end of a work day, but lose their freeze about 4.5-5hrs. they are easy to clean with a sponge or rag, freeze quickly, durable, the colors are fun! Just throw them in the freezer, put them in your lunch pail once frozen. And when you get back home, toss em back in the freezer till the next day! I haven't had issues with leaking or anything like that.

These ice packs are the perfect size to slip into the kids lunch bags. Keep their food and drinks nice and cool. Stays frozen until lunch.
