The flavor, smell and color is perfect and I have yet to find even the tiniest bit of leaf or other debris in this container. It has an earthy and mildly citrusy flavor that I really enjoy sprinkled on eggs, avocado, etc. or as part of one of my favorite salads... iceberg lettuce drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, a little salt, a little fresh ground black pepper, and a liberal sprinkling of this sumac. Delicious!

Citrus and salty in flavor, this is a winner for its quality and value. I shared some with my friends and they are happy to try something new.

First time trying this season love it give food a nice flavor you just wonder what is it.

If you have never tasted Sumac, it is similar to Lemon but the taste is different. Sumac makes a very tasty tea and this spice gives a unique flavor to certain dishes, like mediterranean cuisine. If you want to make tea though, don't use this spice for that. You will need Sumac especially for tea.

Had trouble finding sumac in my local grocery store. Checked Amazon and voile - ordered it and it arrived quickly.

Had to ask for a refund because it has harmful carcinogenic ingredients not shown on pictures. Thankfully amazon gave me a full refund.
