Winsor & Newton Winton 200-Milliliter Oil Paint, Cobalt Violet Hue

We used these to stain a table and chairs as my wife wanted a purple looking table in the dining room, so we used the paint thinned down with white spirit, then varnished over the top with 2 coats of polyurethane varnish

It’s a hue but kind of dark. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful color over lighter colors. The tube is unfortunately already breaking down, leaking paint. This is happening across the board of this brand paints. It’s something that doesn’t happen unless it’s over 20 years old and I’m buying them brand new. The paint is not thick, a watery-like viscosity. Yellow Ochre is a tint darker than the last tube I had. Again, the paint tube is breaking down, already. Still a good loaded with pigments paint.
