Perfect for a cargo trailer conversion
What I like about it. It's low profile and fits perfectly under my cargo trailer conversion project where a traditional P trap would create clearance issues. What I wished I would have known when purchasing the valve is that it doesn't come with 1 1/2" fittings, just 1 1/4". No big deal, but on the Q & A's, someone mentioned that it came with 1 1/2" adapters. It doesn't, but you can pick the adapters up at your local hardware store for a few bucks.

Great for home or RV
I have been using these in an RV for five or six years. They perform flawlessly. Clears up space under a sink or other tight places. For we snowbirds, it is great for replacing the traps back up in the north. No more coming home to dried up p-traps and the resulting aroma. My only question is "why does not every RV come with these things?" Space is so precious in an RV.

Great Product - Like Everything Else Will Need Maintenance
We replaced all the traps in our RV and have used these in 8 degree weather with no issues. I'm not sure what all the grousing is about but it may be that they are experiencing a mineral build up. We have found that we need to service our traps about every 9 to 12 months of full-time use. If used regularly (monthly) a mixture of baking soda and vinegar poured down the sink seems to do the trick. Used as a pee trap for our Nature's Head toiled, I've found that you need to follow each visit with a spray of vinegar to keep the minerals under control. If you find that minerals still build up, remove the trap and immerse it in a bowl of vinegar over night and then pull a brush gently through the trap until the mineral deposit has been removed. Bottom line, there is never going to be a maintenance-free option for traps. We never experienced a problem with freezing but as another reviewer mentioned, heat tape applied to the trap ought to do the trick. Cheers, B

Saved my vanity
I was literally ready to cut a hole in the bottom of my vanity. I bought a new vanity where the drain pipe was right at the bottom of the vanity right above a drawer. I bought this trap because I had no room for a P-trap. Worked a really well. A slight modification, where I changed the fitting from a 1-1/4 compression to a 1 1/2 adapter. Now the question is: "will it last as long as a p-trap". The manufacturer says it will. The only negative is the price. Very expensive compared to a standard trap.

Install this trap Vertically or horizontalial.
This item solved a space problem I had under a bathroom vanity where a standard trap would not work as it can be installed vertically. It has been in use for 2 seasons with no problems.

Unsure as of yet
Put this in the camper last week. As with all jobs it was three runs to the hardware store. The distance from the pipe to the sink was too short so I had to improvise, was not a direct fit. This will vary camper to camper but be ready to make it fit…

Just What I Needed for Forrest River Sand Piper RV
The sink in the outdoor kitchen in our Sand Piper RV started to stink. After looking a bit while on a trip, I found that the installed waterless waste valve had a tear in the rubber sleeve inside the valve that was allowing sewer gases to come back into the sink. No one local had one of these while we were on our trip, including an RV store. This was a perfect fit and fixed the problem.

Fantastic for Skoolie / RV / Campers
It's product has many applications. But we are full-time Skoolie / RV'ers ( Nerd Herd Nomads )and this product has prevented many a bad fume or backups coming from our graywater tanks.
