The Diablo Universal Extension made removing Mercedes W123 motor mounts easier. I was able to access the hard-to-reach bolt while doing the job. The tool is well made and a good value.

Needed a longer extension for a job. I've always been happy with Diablo saw blades, so I figure I'd give their extension a try. For the money and build quality. So far, it seems to be working fine. Guess will see how long it last. Time will tell

Worked exactly as i hoped. I do wish that the connector part where it holds the bit was a little smaller. Sometimes that part is too big for the space you're working with but I can't complain too much, you need something for the but to grab into. Overall I love it. Helped me out of a bind a few times already.

I didn't know exactly how much I needed this extension until I got it, and I don't know how I lived my prior life without it. Seriously, I'm very happy with it. It helped me tackle a shelf disassembly job in which I didn't have easy access to many of the screws and bolts. This little extension works very well. It's durable, there's decent magnet strength, it locks with a secure confidence, it's the perfect length at least for the job that I used, and it fits well into an adjustable drill key.

I needed some extensions to position a right angle adapter 3 feet away to drill a vertical hole in an inaccessible location, so I ordered two of these extensions from Diablo to complement my existing Irwin 12" non-impact extension. I chose the Diablo because unlike the slightly less expensive standard extension from Irwin these are made of hardened steel and supposedly are "Impact Strong" to work better with impact drivers. Initial impressions were good - the Diablo looks well made and the quick release operates smoothly. I tested my long setup on a pilot hole and the Diablo's release mechanism jammed up. Once I got it released they worked fine after that. When it came time to drill the hole the Diablo's didn't let me down. The impact driver kicked in quite a few times when drilling the hole but eventually it went through all the way with no fuss, and the Diablo's separated easily when it came time to take things apart. So, net-net is they worked well. Time will tell whether they jam up again but so far so good.

I needed to boar out about .100" from the inside of an aluminum heavy wall pipe using a Spiral Flute Cobalt Step Drill Bit. I needed to go in 12" but the extension bit holder I had, kept letting go of the bit and when its inside an aluminum pipe it is not easy to get back out. I had seen good write-ups on the diablo bit extensions so I figured I would give it a try. I ended up putting the bit in the extension and it held like it was welded in. I was able to use the Spiral Flute Cobalt Step Drill Bit to boar out four pipes and the extension did not let the bit go in any of the process. If you are looking for an extension that will really hold the bit and not let it go then look no further than the Diablo by Freud Universal Extension. Out of a Rating of 1 through 10, I would give this a 20+ !

My co workers are jealous 10/10, locks your bit in so they don't fall out easy to change, great for getting into those tight spots your drill/driver blocks.
