Leaks from motor. It took my a long time to get all of the fittings to no leak on this only to have water start dripping out of the motor itself. It doesn't happen all of the time, but wondering if it will get worse. It was a pain to hook this up to my pex piping and I hate to have to remove it and redo the piping to put it back to the original. Will watch for a couple of weeks and likely return if it gets worse. It does improve pressure in the house some and would be a good value if it didn't leak

This automatic pressure booster pump is truly amazing! Before, the water in the shower was very soft and the shampoo couldn't lather properly. After installing this, the water pressure shot up immediately, and it felt very powerful when hitting the body. For those living on high floors or experiencing discomfort from low water pressure in the shower, if you want a booster pump that provides high water pressure, makes a great lather, and enhances the bathing experience, this is definitely the top choice. Highly recommended!

use it to water the garden

Received the booster pump yesterday, tested then installed into my water supply today. Piping of where I installed was all CPVC and I couldn’t find F-thread to smooth connection so I used PVC: not for hot water. I had to sand down diameter of CPVC pipe to fit into PVC connection but that should be alright as i expect pressure won’t go beyond 50psi. Used Teflon tape that came with the pump and added Teflon goop to double tap. No leak. As soon as I turn on the shower pump started working and gave me (I’d say) 50% more water flow that I had before. Not bad. I hope this pump will last for a long time. I’m guessing those pumps at similar price range & functions are all made by same Chinese manufacturer as they look all same with different labels slapped on to them. It seems to be a good purchase for the day 1 of using it. Update: 3-7-2023 it’s been about 10mo using this pump added to my water line. It’s been working fine.
