Festool 499638 Granat Abrasives D225 P120, 25-Pack

The usual Festool quality--flawless.In fact, the discs are so precisely cut that when I first opened the box and counted the discs there seemed to be two missing. When I recounted very carefully they were in fact all present. Two pair had clumped together so neatly I didn't notice they were more than one disc.These abrasive discs are for use on a Planex sander, normally on drywall. The Planex is an expensive tool but it really does work great. I accumulated some damage to both shoulders over the years so the Planex sander on a pole is the only way I want to smooth up anything on a ceiling or above my head. In addition, the dust collection is terrific.Price worked out to $1.60 per abrasive disc. Not cheap. Then again, they work so well with the Planex that the price takes a back seat.Festool 571579 Planex LHS 225 Drywall SanderFor dust collection I use a Festool MIDI dust extractor, with an Oneida Dusty Deputy ahead of the Festool MIDI. The Dust Deputy is mounted on a polyethylene drum.
