My son loves it. The ramp switching to hit the ape is slightly difficult the first couple times, but then it loosens up a bit.

We gave this to our 5 year old son for his birthday and it was an immediate disappointment. The thruster mechanism does not push the car around the track. You can hit it as hard as you like and it only goes up half the hill and falls back down.

This Hot Wheels toy was difficult to use as a 30-something, let alone for my 4 year old twins to try and make it work. The manual "thruster" on these are a joke. It is way too hard to make it work. I returned it as soon as I could.
