Always prep your face with moisturizer & pore concealer (if needed) Love the coverage & light feel. Been using this for years. Affordable, Fragrance free, large assortment or colors, covers well. Use a dense, large foundation brush for best results. I Start with a deeper shade to conceal, then I use the shade that matches my skin to blend it all. Tends to crumble easily though in its case. 🤷‍♀️ I put it in small Tupperware when they crumble & use it from there. Lighter shades don’t seem to cover as well so I use darker then blend it & use a blurring powder to finish! I like Elf’s blurring powder.

Great product. I love the color and coverage, although I still would prefer Loreal’s true match compact makeup that was discontinued. The packaging is terrible, however. After about a dozen uses the hinge breaks and the whole unit comes apart. This wasn’t just a one off. I have had 3 of these and they have all broken within 2 weeks. Too bad. I’ll still keep buying until I find something better.

It is a good face powder. I’m not sure what they did to ruin their True match version of compact powder… but this infallible line works like you’d expect powder foundation to.

Works well but breaks up in packaging easily. On my hunt for a more affordable MAC studiofix (since they changed the shades and prices) I've ordered this makeup 3 different times. all 3 have broken within a couple of weeks... which is very frustrating and messy. I do like the coverage but now I'm on the hunt for something else. :(

If you put this on using the included sponge it is VERY heavy with full coverage, and if it's not an exact color match, it definitely shows. It is a lot more natural looking and more of a medium coverage if you use a brush. Brush application also makes it a lot more forgiving if you don't have the exact right shade. It's okay on mature skin (I'm in my 40s), but not great... I have to use a generous layer of moisturizer and primer for it to sit right. On the plus side, it does last all day with very minimal transfer.
