The top was slippery-like which I transferred from my feet to other areas in the house so to remove whatever it is the factory put on it to preserve it until I got it in the house, I mopped the mat and no more slipsies, plus mopped the area where I transferred the slipsies which got rid of that problem. You must mop this mat immediately once you place it down otherwise someone in the home could have an accident.The bottom is not slippery and because rugs and mats move a tiny bit, it does move a little bit that that is nothing to complain about.Arthritis, body aches, everything feels better after standing on this mat while working in the kitchen. Had a cute mat in front of the stove and wanting that nice attractive cushion along the sink and counter, I bought this one and it's a beauty with much comfort.UPDATE 11/23/2020: If you have a cat don't get this mat with the patterned border. My cat used the pattern area "to make biscuits" and now after mopping it, it looks ugly in the areas where she dug her nails. The parts of the mat where she didn't use it as a scratch post looks very nice after mopping. (Fyi my mop is the old school stick with mop head where you firmly attach it with that clamp.)

The size of 72 inches was just right for the area by my kitchen sink. It was soft to the feet. I have not used it for long so I cannot comment about it being useful as an anti-fatigue mat. The design and look was good. The surface can be slippery but I think it will get better as I use it more. It was easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase.

The mat is nice and firm yet cushy. The only bummer is that it is shipped slightly folded in half and it left a crease mark at the fold. I thought it would go away after a while, but it's been 3 weeks and it's still there. Most people/guests wouldn't notice it, but since it's mine, I do.....

I love my new cushioned mat. I ordered the 70" long mat that fits perfectly under my kitchen sink and side counter.I have it on tile floor and it slides slightly on the floor so I put an antislip pad under the mat. That seems to help.

I looked for a long time to find these mats and they are so worth having! I like to cook and can spend 2-3 hours at it. Having these mats helps me stay on my feet longer and make the cooking that much more enjoyable! And after finishing these mats are easy to clean. Just use soap and water, no chemical cleaners, and they look new again.

Very unsure about this product!! It is nice and has great padding, the bottom slides but not an issue, you just move it back. My biggets concern is there is a film on the top. It carries over to your socks then the film is transfered from your socks to the floor causing it to be very, very slippery, causing me to slip and fall. I'm going to clean the mat every day in hopes of removing the film becaue I really like the product with all the padding and color.

I think I got a bad one but it has a coating of oil like substance that I tried to clean off with a little soap and water but it’s still coming out. I am afraid it will ruin my floors. It doesn’t stay in place because of this as well

I use these for my dogs to lay on for sleeping at night. I have four big dogs that sleep on the floor, no carpet so this is good for them and me because I don't worry about tripping over big dog beds making my way to the restroom in the dark. Just the big dogs lol. I use these in dog crates too under dog beds because its funny most of the dog beds don't have much padding on the bottom. More padding on the sides, what's up with that lol. They work well for dog mats all over the house.
