Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Expandable Luggage with 4 Spinner Wheels, Lightweight Suitcase, Men and Women, Black, Checked-Large 29-Inch

Let me start by saying that I have always bought Travelpro. So when I decided I needed a new set of luggage I did not think twice about Travelpro. But I must say that I am very disappointed. I bought a tote bag, a carryon which both are fine but I also bought an29” luggage, which is not durable specially for the price that I pay for this size . The wheels are too small for this big bag, they do not wheel easily through the airport, hotel or over little gap on the floors. I’m literally sitting at the airport after using this bad one trip and already the wheels are bending. The fabric has stains ready. This price that I paid for this should have some type of scotch already applied to it. Now I know it’s my decision to buy a light color, but luggage shouldn’t be bulging in while standing upright. I’m so disappointed with travel pro as I’ve been buying this brand for over 20 years

The product is lightweight and appears to be strong with the travel we've done so far. I've always been concerned about Wheels in this product seems to be strong. Really a problem I had was with a zipper inside which covers the structure of the suitcase inside. The zipper popped apart and now I can't get it to zip up again. No big deal.

Very impressed and it's well built and light. Great wheels!!! I previously purchased the other and similar suitcase below which was highly rated on Amazon. But I found the wheels very poor in comparison. I’m on my first trip with this luggage and I’m already in love with it. Zippers are smooth and easy to pull. Is the perfect size to hold even my 16” laptop but still fit easily into the overhead bin. The handle lifts easily and best thing closes easily. The spinner wheels move with you at all times. Don’t get stuck even on eleven on uneven terrain. I love the little zippered net pocket on the inside of the suitcase. Easily keeps little things where they belong and not moving all over the suitcase. I also bought the under the seat side bag and when I slide it over the handle the suitcase doesn’t fall over. That’s amazing to me after my last luggage. The outside handles are placed to make lifting the bag into the overhead compartment a breeze even when it’s full (and I’m a 60 year old woman). The little zipper pocket on the outside is perfect for holding my passport and cellphone. The exterior pocket on the whole panel fits my laptop perfectly. No more having to vary my backpack to accommodate it. I love the pretty pink color. I can definitely find my bag amongst all the other luggage on carousels and ferries. Very happy with all of the features for a great priced piece of luggage. Will be asking for the accompanying pieces for Christmas and birthday

Talk about a spinner! The wheels on this suitcase are incredible and are so nimble when carting it around the airport, to hotels, or through city streets! I typically struggle lifting my bag into the overhead bins on a plane, but with the weight of this suitcase, I can do so with ease! I’ve found that I prefer a soft-sided suitcase and love how durable this fabric is. I do know that the green color may stain over time, but love how stylish it looks for now, and that it stands out amongst the sea of black and charcoal gray. If you’re not used to an international sized suitcase, you may struggle with space in this one! Though I researched extensively to find a spinner that met 22x14x9” dimensions, the interior does feel smaller than other bags I’ve had. Overall, I look forward to using this spinner as my carryon for years to come!

This is the 4th Travelpro Maxlite piece of luggage I have purchased. They have all been excellent so far. The top load feature is perfect for me. It’s super light too. It does show the travel scuffs easily, but I still like the light pink color. I was able to spot clean them off.

So far so good -- I got this for a 4 day business trip to replace my very old carry-on and I am quite happy. It's lightweight, fits easily in the overhead compartment, and I was worried it would be smaller than I expected but it actually felt very spacious and usable for my needs, even though I think my former carryon was slightly larger. The wheels are smooth and it's so easy to navigate the airport and plane with this.

This bag should get 5 stars - it is designed for travel, lightweight, rolls easily, good pockets, good construction, good material. Its everything I hoped and expected it would be - except for one thing. It smells. It smells of polyurethane, plastic, chemicals - whatever it is - and my clothes now smell and I'm having a hard time washing the smell out. Vinegar, baking soda and good detergent does the best job. And its not only this model of bag - its all the Travelpro bags I've ordered here. I intend to shop for new bags and buy them at a store, where I can smell them first. This seems to be a trend in manufacturing (all manner of goods) and I'm not a fan.
