Organic Chlorella & Spirulina 500mg Tablets - Immune Support Muscle Health (1000 Tablets)

OK, not your normal usage! I bought these supplements for the (Common Frog aka Rana Temporaria) tadpoles I was keeping at home in a tank, as a first herbivorous phase food for our tadpoles. I spent a lot of time researching what to feed our tadpoles, and Chlorella and Spirulina came up often as beneficial tadpole foodstuffs. There are foods you can buy specifically for tadpoles at each phase (herbivorous and carnivorous), but they are very expensive, and I feel these are probably aimed at getting money off anxious animal lovers. Of course it depends how many tadpoles you are keeping and the size of your tank, but I found having a pill very handy. The pills only contain (at time of review) pure Spirulina and Chlorella, no binders or capsule shell, just very compressed together. I tried both dropping one pill in whole and cutting it up into halves or quarters. Either way works well. One pill would feed ours for a few days until water change (note: ALWAYS USE RAINWATER OR DE-CHLORINATED WATER).
