I initially purchased one of the pink(her favorite color) crystal Christmas trees for a dear aunt. Two summers ago, she had lost her husband in a tragic accident. She was not up to that first Christmas without him.Knowing how much she loved Christmas and decorating prior to his passing, the thought of no Christmas decorations at her home, saddened me.I searched and discovered this adorable crystal Christmas tree. With a few colors to choose from, it was the pink one that won my heart as I hoped it would ease a tad of her heartache, if nothing else, it would at least make her smile.And it does, this past Christmas was year number 2 without him, and she did a little Christmas decor table, pink crystal tree in tow. Little steps...I also gifted another pink crystal Christmas tree this past holiday to one of my nieces who had relocated cross country and moved into new apartment. Not knowing what her Christmas decorating plans were, I ordered one for her as well. Her favorite color is pink too. I'm told it was a hit...I think there will be more of these crystal Christmas trees in my near future as they are wonderful gifts, and hopefully I will be selecting other colors in addition to more pink ones...what can I say, most of my girls, as well as our dear aunt, love pink...you cannot go wrong when gifting with thought and hoping for a smile.

I read some reviews saying the color was not purple enough. This was specifically a Christmas present for a purple fan. So I was hesitant. But I took a chance and it was definitely purple enough! Beautiful little gift, looks way more expensive than it is!

This is exactly what they said it would be: a purple glass tree with little colored spots to imitate lights. It's pretty solid; it has some heft to it. If you like little glass decorations, this is a good buy. It was a good price and I feel glad to have it in my collection.
