Optoma X304M XGA 3000 Lumen Full 3D Portable DLP Projector with HDMI

i was putting a bad review but I just looked at the description again and when i got it i did not see that it was used. if i new it was used i would not have gotten it .

This projector is wonderful. The light is so bright I can show movies in day light. I connect my iPad to it effortlessly and I am off! I love the size and weight. I had an older Optima, so I stuck with this brand. I am so glad I did.

DO NOT BUY THIS! I bought this projector because I saw the great reviews online. I had it for over two years when it became completely unreliable. I would turn it on and the light would flicker and immediately after the image would show in only one solid color. I turn it on and off and it would continue to do that. Sometimes later or the next day it would work OK. On and off the same issue, so I just could not count on it working properly when I had clients coming over!. Of course this was just out of warranty. I sent it to the Optoma official service and they quoted me over half of the price of the projector (new) to fix it!!! I barely used it maybe 50 times. Totally unacceptable and a huge waste of money.

Ordered one of these from Amazon. When I received the unit and installed batteries in the remote, I found that the laser pointer was stuck permanently in the on position. Tested the projector with a large spreadsheet and could not obtain uniform focus across the image from left to right - one side was always blurry. Called Optoma and they recommended an RMA to Amazon. RMA'd the original and received a replacement. This time the remote was fine, but there was still a minor but noticeable focus aberration across the widescreen image that could not be rectified by adjusting the alignment of the projector. I tried it projecting on a wall to ensure that this was not a screen alignment problem. As the bulb on the second one warmed up, I noticed a slight intermittent flicker that would be very tiring during a long work session with a spreadsheet. This product ships from Amazon in an outer carton that is only a tiny bit larger than the manufacturer's box, and I suspect that rough handling during shipping of the improperly packaged item may be causing my problems. Either that or poor quality control from Optoma. The rep I talked to did not sound surprised to hear about the problem. At any rate, I am reluctant to try a third time.

We do a couple dozen programs a year in a couple dozen locations. This projector is half the size of our last. Sets up in a hurry and offers a really bright vivid image.

This projector is a great portable projector. We have close to 100 of these in our active deployment, it is what our sales reps use for presentations. Pros: - Very portable (light & small size) - Comes with a nice carrying case - Runs relatively cool - Puts out a very bright & vibrant picture to be used for presentation - The price is great for such a bright & portable projector Cons: - It can be a little loud, but tolerable - The adjustability of the throw is very limited - The leg is somewhat flimsy, out of the nearly 100, we've had about 6-7 of them snap off Overall, if you're looking for a portable projector to use for presentations, this is a great option.I have used many other portable projectors, going back to HP, InFocus, Epson and several others--this one certainly takes the top prize!

This was a replacement for a 10 year old projector that always struggled to find the laptop or whatever. Not this one...it fires right up and finds the laptop and we were in business in no time! Good lightweight machine!!

I was a previous Optoma projector owner and am satisfied with the quality of the device because of the high lumens and great picture quality.
