Very handy, either by being in the newer cars that don't bother them installed, or needing to have a power hookup of this type available outside the car (like some of the emergency air pumps for tires low on air or flat and just repaired. Only 4 stars given, the 5th is for longevity.

Bought this to be able to "exercise" my 12v 100AH LiFePO4 battery while I'm not using it in my RV as a house battery or in my boat to power the stereo. I'm exercising it by plugging in a cigarette lighter charger to this adaptor for various chargers for ebike lights, etc.

Great alternative to the common port on most vehicles. It was necessary for me to find a way to use my portable tire inflator on my newer car that has a port that cannot support the amperage necessary to run my gear. This item is a great alternative for people with newer vehicles that have so much internal electronics gizmos! My old truck had no problem supporrting portable devices but I found out real quickly how common tasks I once took for granted are not so easy with newer vwhicles. The cable also has a standard replaceable fuse inline port so thats a great safety feature to protect your battery.
