Near instant gratification with value added
We’ve had this up for over a year now. I didn’t want to review something this price point without giving it every chance to let me down. I’m happy to say it has not, even with almost daily use. Even in winter. Not that Florida has much winter, which is one reason it’s so useful.Obviously, there are much cheaper ways to build an outside shower enclosure. We spend a lot of time working and living outdoors. Gardening in the Florida summer is sticky, messy work. When we decided to add an outdoor shower, we considered lots of options. This was my first choice for many reasons, but let’s be honest, the price had me clutching my pearls. Finally, I decided I was paying for fast installation (my husband can turn a weekend project into his new life’s work), easy maintenance, and stunning good looks. I got all three, and more.It came in two large packages. Some parts are pre assembled, which made installation quick and relatively straightforward. My husband and brother had it up in a few hours. It would have taken much less time, but they also built a raised deck and installed plumbing, not to mention put away a few cold beverages, so it was pretty much a start to finish job in a day. This thing is gorgeous. Everyone who sees it catches their breath and says they want one. It’s surprisingly room on the inside. We have hook racks on both inside sides for shower implements as well as a small rack for soaps and such. A shower curtain easily hangs from one of the overhead rails. I use inexpensive plastic rings and fabric curtains that I replace regularly to prevent mildew in the fabric. I find fabric works better than PEVA plastic for airflow, but it’s a personal preference. Any shower curtain will do.It’s easy to clean. For the most part, it stays pretty clean on its own. Ours sits under a tree so we occasionally spritz it with soapy water and hose it down. I’ve never had to use anything abrasive, nor would I want to because it might damage the surface. It comes with all types of brackets for attaching it at either the bottom or back sides. We have ours attached at all available points because we’re both on a deck and against a wall. We’ve had quite a few thunderstorms (yay, hurricane belt) and it’s held up just fine. If we ever did need to remove it, the brackets are easy enough to unscrew. The side panels are solid without openings and reach well overhead and almost to the ankles, so privacy is excellent.So. Was it worth the money and would I buy it again?Yes. Yes, I would. While it’s lamentable that anything made of this material seems to be more pricey than whatever’s in second place, with proper care, it pays for itself. It looks amazing, it was fast and gratifying to install, it's effortless to clean, and an absolute pleasure to use.I’m just certain it’s added to the overall value of our home. It’s certainly added to the value of our lifestyle. For those reasons, I don’t consider it an expense, I consider it an investment.

High quality material and very sturdy. Strong hinges for the door.
We love our outdoor shower enclosure. One of the things I was a little concerned about were the hinges giving out due to the weight of the door, but the hinges that come with the unit are double hinged and spring loaded, very heavy duty. The unit was easily assembled, but I do suggest that you have someone help you putt it together. If you're going to be mounting this unit on wood or concrete, make sure you order the special feet design for this, they do not come with the unit. If you're going to be mounting the unit into the ground, the hardware needed to do that comes with the unit.I think you'll be pleased with the outdoor shower, very aesthetic and heavy duty.

Pretty and functional but lots of work!
Ok so I literally just finished putting this together and let me just say it was NOT easy! Here are the things I encountered (also wanted to say I’m pretty handy and this was almost just as hard as when I put my trampoline together which I did by myself. You definitely need a helper with this one).Ok so sliding the wall panels in was hard! The guide piece you screw in like doesn’t get tight and you have to make sure it’s super straight. We installed on concrete slab. You ever drilled into concrete before? Haha let me just say it’s nearly impossible to drill these super thick concrete anchors in perfectly straight, 16 TIMES! And yes I used a hammer drill lol Anyway, we had to ‘modify’ a bit and only screwed one anchor per post. It would have been impossible for me to do so many and perfectly straight. I had to buy several concrete drill bits too! It was crazy! This was one of the hardest parts aside from the wall panels which sliced my partners hand while we were ‘sliding’ it in (um yeah it doesn’t slide in you have to force it in lol).Up until the concrete anchors, we have followed this thing to the T by the instructions. When we put the first decorative caps, the ones that go on the lower part of he 4 posts, they did not stay up and kept sliding down. It looked nice down as well but when I went to install the lock, I had to raise it or the latch would crash into that decorative cap. I just put some double sided tape and kind of wedged it in between to hold it up. Hopefully it will never fall down. The last issue we ran into were the top slats. They did not align. Which I couldn’t understand because we were super careful to screw everything right and the concrete anchors were measured soooo many times to make sure it was perfect! So I don’t know why it didn’t align so what did was drilled into all the pre drilled holes on the front board and then I had to make new holes in the back. It was off by like a quarter of an inch. This was the only other modification we had to make.Otherwise it turned out really nice and perfect for us. We didn’t need it as a shower but rather a changing room so all of the water doesn’t get dragged into my house from the spa.

This outdoor shower is great!
This outdoor shower is great! I thought the instructions were very straightforward and clear. It was difficult to slide the middle panels into the 3 sections, I needed 2 other helpers to hold the sides upright as I slide the middle section in with some force. I messed up ordering only 2 legs (Bolt on), I thought it came 4 to an order, so be aware of that. The result is a beautiful, strong and well designed outdoor shower. everyone loves it.
