Q: is this 2020 model? which footprint is compatible with this tent

The one posted by Sunrise Mountain Sports (seller) is the 2021 model. The new bikepack model has the rain fly / awning that was added to the backpacking model last year. Feel free to reach out with any other questions!

Q: There is nothing said about water proof, water repellent. Is it either?

i can confirm that this ten is waterproof. for ultralight bikepacking/hiking this is the perfect tent. word of caution: it is very narrow, almost sarcophagal. but it packs down very small and light and is feature rich. don't get too excited about using hiking poles to set up a lean-to. it's too short to really be practical. the pockets on this tent are awesome.

i used a sheet of tyvek and some waterproof tape to make my own footprint. you'll save yourself about $60. but definitely use something underneath.
