MOOGEV419 Steering Tie Rod End for Ford Focus

This is typical good Moog engineering and build quality, I expect to not have to replace this until someone else hits the car. Keep in mind that if you are replacing the stock Ford tie rod that you will need a special tool as it has no way for a wrench to fit it unlike this Moog part.

I give 4 stars as it seems like this inner tie rod is longer than the original for 2001 focus wagon se zetec and is brushing on something guys at alignment shop cant fix issue but steering feels great very quick turn

Highway speed vibration. Replaced oem with this part and we are good to go.

Much better than the OEM tie rod. It has flat spots on both the shaft and the nut, whereas the OEM has neither. Easy installation thanks to the flats on the nut -- I had to use a pipe wrench to remove the old one.

These seem good and made in the USA. I returned them because the old ones were still very tight!

The automotive aftermarket is full of "value" replacement parts that will replace a worn out part but will not last. Moog parts cost more but you won't be repeating the task again. The advertising that race cars use Moog front end parts is earned. If you care for the vehicle or the occupants this is the brand to look for.
