Jenny's Winter Walk: A Kids Yoga Winter Book

My preschoolers like this book!

Great idea to practice some fun winter poses. I will modify to use with different age ranges but a great outline for any yoga class.

Love the yoga pose pictures on the sides. My students could make the poses while I read.

We have her Emotions and World books. The amount of words in those books is less. So you read a short phrase and do the pose. With this book there are more words. So you kinda need to read the passage while they are holding the pose. I would suggest this book for older kids (like 2nd grade) and the other two books for younger kids (like kindergarten). I prefer to count with the younger kids as they hold the pose instead of reading to them, but I could see how reading would be more peaceful for the older kids.

This is a cute book for talking about nature and seasons and health. It got the children up and moving during circle time.
