This cacao tastes amazing. I love the size of the chips and the quality. I appreciate that they don't send this out with an ice pack since it's extra waste and unnecessary. I understand that if I'm ordering chocolate during the warmer months it may melt a bit. I had minimal melting, but not a problem for me either way.

Great product. Just wish they would sell the butter dish cacao wafers.

I'm really surprised to see so many negative reviews on these. I have tried a couple different companies out of cacao paste products and these are just as good if not better. I guess we're all different and taste things differently but I thought these were great and have only been buying these ever since my first purchase. Great price as well!! UPDATE: I have had a very good experience with this product until today. I got a bag of sloppy slopped chunks and hard glops and I wouldn't even make a fuss except when I tried to return it or get a refund found that I cannot and I'm just tough out of luck. For $22.50, that is unacceptable! UPDATE 2: After trying a different brand (Ghirardelli) and wanting to throw up after tasting them, I adjusted but then noticed it made me feel nauseous and really crummy which cacao has NEVER done. So I boutht another bag of these. They came unmelted this time and not only tasted WAY better, made me feel WAY better, but also I only needed to eat less than half to give me even MORE energy than the other brand. And the other brand also had bad reviews with photos with melted wafers when delivered so I guess it happens now and then during the Summer regardless of the brand., I'll be sticking with these form now on!

I was happy to find this product when my local store stopped carrying unsweetened 100% caco chips. The only downside to these is that they are pretty large- the size of the candy melts. I had to chop them up to put in cookies/ baked goods.

Yes, I ordered cacao paste… by mail… in summer. I knew the risks I was assuming and received a superior product. This made my morning Xocolatl recipe sing. Very high quality and very appreciated.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great product, but don’t order in the summer.They ship via USPS, and two thrirds of USPS trucks have no AC.

I have used this product before and enjoyed it but I will never buy it again. Was it hot where you live this summer? It was delivered TO MY MAILBOX in JULY and melted into an unusable mess. The cavalier response I received from the vendor suggested I get a cheese grater once the chocolate coagulated and grate the chocolate. Um, no. Great product which was mishandled by the vendor, who refused to correct the situation. Buy YuPik brand instead like I recently did. The product was delivered to my front door. In a box. With padding. With ice packs. I rest my case.
