All kids nursery songs **Q: Does this drum come with the solid black carrying case or the brown pouch? It is different with the different colors.** A: I purachased a black drum and the carrying case was also black. I do not know about the other colored drums and their cases. **Q: Hi, what key and scale is this tongue drum in?** A: The drum is tuned to the key of D Major. The notes, starting from low to high, with their corresponding numbers, are: Center #5=A, Larger #6=B, Larger #7=C#, Larger #1=D,2=E, 3=F#, #4=G, Small #5=A, Small #6= B, Small #7=C#, Small #1=D. **Q: What key is it tuned to? Description says C major, but comments here say D, which is it?** A: C major - no sharps no flats - also the coolest hand-drum i have ever played! it can be made to sound similar to steel drums, bongos, tablas, bells, trashcan, chimes, etc.... in the hands of a creative drummer this thing is mind blowing! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice quality. *by P***I on July 30, 2026* Very nice little steel drum, good sound. Love learning to play it. Good quality, nicely made. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well worth it *by C***S on December 23, 2025* Great sound, louder than I was expecting, was expecting a softer sound. Very easy to play, looks great. It's in tune to itself. It rivals what I have heard from professional musicians ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, not great *by D***D on January 7, 2023* Initial issues (because that's why you really read reviews). The handpan arrived quickly but the box was in poor condition and clearly opened before I received it. Interior package with sticks and cleaning cloth was also torn open so I suspect it was a returned item. The finish on the bottom (and to a lesser extent the top) was very uneven and damaged due being in contact with the cheap Chinese styrofoam. I tried cleaning gently but it didn't change. Also the styrofoam disintegrated on the edge of the pan and had to be scraped away. (See photos) Otherwise, the pan seems to be in tune (which was my first concern when I saw the condition of packaging and that it appears to have been returned in the past). The sound is clean for the most part with a slight bit of chatter in the highest note (#8) because it takes a pretty good pop to get it to sound. The durability of the tuning is to be seen and I'll try to update later if I remember. Overall though, knowing the cost of a great handpan can easily exceed 4 times the cost of this instrument, I'd say it's well worth the price. Even with the relatively minor cosmetic issues I'm still pleased with it overall. I don't recall if the listing said it, but the pan did arrive with a soft, padded carrying case and a stand. Take the time to buy one available through Prime so that it's easily returnable as I understand that arriving out of tune is not entirely uncommon. Lastly, I purchased this as an initial attempt to see if the instrument was something I would enjoy. I had no misconception that I'd be performing with this pan and feel it's an excellent pricepoint knowing that a more costly upgrade would possibly come later. ## Frequently Bought Together - LOMUTY Handpan Drum for Beginners, 22 Inch D Minor Kurd 9 Notes - 440Hz Hand Drum Set for Music Therapy, Meditation & Outdoor Performances (Black) - Easiest Tongue Drum Songbook Ever!: 100 Songs for Tongue Drum. 100% note-free! - REGIS Steel Tongue Drum 6 inch 8 Notes Musical Percussion Instrument, Rain Drum for Outside - Musician Gift for Family and Friends(malachite) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/252918974-handpan-drum-22-inch-for-adults-9-notes-hand-pan](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/252918974-handpan-drum-22-inch-for-adults-9-notes-hand-pan) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
