Given the low price of £23 (2m version) I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and the good image quality. Set up was simple and the instructions were in understandable English. Within a few minutes I was able to view and record images on my Samsung A33 phone.For me, it served as an ideal tool for a one off job of inspecting the toilet to soil pipe seal, via a small access hole, in the base of the pan.I'm sure I'll find other uses for it in the future.

I get no picture on my phone via the prescribed app when connected to the wifi module.But the snake cam itself works fine when connected to a PC/laptop so it will still work as I need it to.

Needed something to have a look at the cylinder bores of an engine. Didn't want to spend a lot as probably won't use much afterwards. Bought on the basis of reviews. What a great little piece of kit for the money. Very easy set up, picture quality is great. Very easy to use. Build quality is fine. Ideally I'd like a smaller diameter camera, but at 8mm this one is perfectly adequate. Very happy with this item.

The media could not be loaded. For the money I'd recommend it as it will save you time which is money. Check EGR valves just taking off the air pipe, check inside a cylinder, carburettor, intake manifold etc.A few points, the lense is glued on at a fraction of a slantThe attachments are a mirror, magnet and hook.Attachments fit with plastic clips that probably will break. (2 spare plastic clips)The mirror is a fraction too big to fit in a spark plug hole so slight filing is required.I wouldn't trust the waterproofing.Be careful of lense as there is no shroud. (Maybe a wrap of tape may give some protection)The battery lasts about half an hour so as time goes on the battery will reduceA bit tricky to maneuver so mark the top of the camera so you know which way is up.

I’ve seen reviews mentioning poor picture quality etc. Given this item cost £23 I wasn’t expecting James Cameron’s prototype camera for the latest titanic footage. For the tasks most will need this for, the fact that it lights up really well and focuses even with attachments on is perfect.Day one self isolating and my washing machine developed a bad grinding noise. But if googling let me know something was trapped between the inner and outer drum. YouTube video later and I had the heater element out but no sign of the item. So I ordered this.Arrived next day, within minutes it was set up and ten minutes later I’d located a bra wire, trapped in a groove at the top of the drum! It was completely jammed in the groove. I put the hook attachment on and had to be patient for near an hour until it got the correct spot and pulled it free.This is the best 23 quid I’ve spent. This would have cost me hundreds in repair fees or even a new machine. Fully paid for itself. Next job will be the shower drain which is slow to drain.For those who need it, I used Wi-Fi connection to an iPhone 12. The machine was on its side and there was water between drums at one point, the camera functioned flawlessly in the water and the picture cleared quickly once out.In summary, for the price of a Chinese meal for 3 this item is amazing for the jobs you will need it for.

Used once and seemedto work, but second time around device didn't work. Tried connecting it both to laptopand phone and both failed miserably. Cheap rubbish, good luck

I called out a drain clearing service who wanted 300 euro to retrieve a lost drain rod. So I purchased his instead . After a very simple set up. ( The box is a wifi router which you connect . Download an app from the qr code on the box. ) I cable tied the camera to a spare pole and was able to screw the 'camera rod ' to the 'lost rod' and pulled it back.After cleaning off all of the unmentionables withe power hose I looked to see the drain running free again.I highly recommend.Later after I have disinfected it I shall inspect my chimneys . And then my down pipes .

This was purchased as a replacement for a all-in-one camera monitor.PositivesGood illumination, which is variable.Good camera focus & definition.Built in re chargable battery pack.Lightweight & very portable.NegativesThe actual camera flex is not particularly rigid, & sags after about 400mm. This can be fixed by running the camera through either a rigid plastic pipe, or some garden hose.App. Be aware this camera connects to your phone tablet via WiFi. WiFi look software needs to be installed, & your device connected to the camera WiFi.Overall a great little camera, only 4 stars due to rigidity of the camera.
