I did quite a bit of research before I chose this brand and it paid off. They are an extremely quality conscious company and are very responsive to inquiries. The process they use to get this powder insures a maximum of nutrient benefits. And, it is ORGANIC....quite a number of the other products were not. After about 10 days of using the powder, I do notice that I feel a subtle, even sort of energizing affect after taking 1 and a half teaspoons of the powder. I have noticed this especially after I am tired from not getting enough sleep the night before. The "upper" lasts for several hours to maybe 4 or 5 hours. One bag should last 57 days with the recommended 1 teaspoon daily. I take it straight, 1/2 teaspoon popped into my mouth 3 individual times at one sitting. I tried mixing it with liquid but that left too much of the powder wasted on the interior sides of the cup after I finished drinking it. It has a really nice, sweet, tangy berry flavor. I chase it with a few sips of kefir. The very dark purple color indicates this food will have really great benefits in the long run. The more I research maqui berries the more I am impressed with the awesome benefits of this deep, deep purple fruit. It is actually supposed to have 10 times more polyphenols than grape wine and 100 times more anthocyanins! Great product and I will be using it regularly.
