using this to switch on a pressure pump for my garden irrigation. the instructions are as horrible as any chinese product but the timer itself works and works well once you decode them.the battery was depleted when i received mine but recharged quickly while i tweaked the settings. note that there's limited space between the edge of the top pin socket and the "prog" button so any large plug like a multipin that exceeds this gap of roughly 0.25" will squish the button(s).instructions:press week/hour/time while holding "clock" to set the current weekday and time.press "prog" and use the week/hour/time buttons to schedule device on time.press "prog" again and do the same to schedule device off.each press of "prog" cycles through 20 pairs of on/off programs."mode" can be used to manually toggle device on/off or timer program mode (auto)."del" deletes the currently selected program"R" resets the device."do not use outdoors"there are other functions (countdown, random, daylight savings) that i have not tested but the "random" one is meant as a theft deterrent and randomly switches appliances on/off to give the impression that your home is occupied when you're vacationing.

After a couple of weeks. the product is no longer working as desired.
