do they work in the middle of a marathon?

good question, i have never run a marathon so i cannot really say. i do play beach volleyball for about 6 to 7 hours on sunday through the months of good weather, running and diving on the court does wear on a person and cramps usually occur at the end of the day. i usually take the cramp tablets approx. a half hour prior to ending my day and heading for the parking lot which also entails climging a trail up a hill about 600 ft. up to the parking area. these tablets work great, without the use of the tablet, i would start to have severe leg cramps about 200 ft after starting the climb, since using the tablet i have no cramping all the way to the car. it may not be the same as running a marathon, but running in sand for six hours is a great workout. good luck, well worth the try.

Is this a quick responds under the tongue?

They dissolve quickly under the tongue and generally the cramps are relieved within a minute or two.

Do these work for cramps/muscle spasms in other parts of body such as hands, chest, stomach, arms etc or only for feet and legs???
