Excellent
As a Vedic Astrologer, I’m quite familiar with the Nakshatras. This book is outstanding. The descriptions of the 27 Star constellations bring in elements that I am familiar with but introduce new information about the constellations that I did not know yet absolutely fit these stars. Bringing in the Greek mythology adds a whole other level of knowledge to these 27 constellations. I found myself nodding in agreement with my own constellations being described in ways that I have felt personally but have never read in any other text or learned from any other Astrologer. I highly recommend this book. It’s concise at under 200 pages but right on point. Quality over quantity for sure.

Love this book!
This book is clear, well written, concise and RIGHT on! It was interesting to see that I am considered a Sagittariusvs. a Capricorn (Western astrology) due to the star that I was born under. This book assisted my understandingof both myself and others. I also liked that it addresses the health of an individual. I highly recommend this to anyoneinterested in learning about their strengths, weaknesses, and potential life paths.

So unbelievably true!
I wish I would have had this book before I met my Ex. My jaw dropped after reading the description of the star he was born under. It makes me want to ask everyone for there birth date.

An author that trashes Western, Greek, and Vedic astrology without realizing it.
It is hard to cover all of the mistakes and offenses that the author makes in this book.If he'd just stuck with what he knew, it would have actually been a decent book, but...On the one hand, he trashes Western astrology, but then hypocritically includes a section on Western Sun Signs! (Those ignorant of Vedic astrology might think his sign section is Vedic, but it is purely Western)Then he abuses Vedic astrology by throwing out all of the Vedic deities and their relationships with the 27 Nakshatras in favor of his made-up Western "Greek" associations. To make matters worse, he pretends to be basing his choices on an ancient work -- which I'm sure he didn't think any readers owned (I do). In fact, nothing he says is in that work. Finally, he assigns Greek deities to the lunar mansions that belong to planets! Clearly, he knows nothing at all about Hellenistic (ancient Greek) astrology either!I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. It is amazing that one person could do such disservice to three schools of astrology so completely.Don't believe any of his "scholarship" because he has none.

Short but Invaluable
They explain exactly why Tropical astrology is incorrect, and have a clear system of signs to replace it. I wish more people would question the origins of tropical astrology and think about how it detrimental it is to support it. Read this book!

This book did not resonate with me.
This was not in my wheelhouse of knowledge. Perhaps it will be a "right" choice for you. It is your decision.
