I bought these Fish Oil pills as a supplement prenatal for my wife when she was pregnant with our daughter after conducting EXTENSIVE research on different brands and how DHA helps the developing fetal brain, especially in the third trimester. I wanted a prenatal DHA that was of the highest quality, natural and free from heavy metals. Nordic delivers. They are one of the highest quality fish oil sellers in the space and are trusted for their sourcing and quality. In addition, there are tons peer-reviewed articles on the benefits of DHA for mothers both pregnant and nursing. I have continued buying these and will keep doing so as my wife nurses our baby girl. One thing to note: The pills themselves were great, did not have a fishy taste whatsoever and came quickly and packaged well. BE SURE TO CHECK THE SELLERS! It seems others have had issues with resellers or other online distributors when receiving these. Either way, 5/5 stars.

I think it works, my son has ADHD and since he takes this, his mood has improved and his grades too, seems very motivated, I won't say for kids not to take their prescription and substitute with this, but I will suggest to add this to the ADHD treatment, I consulted with my son's psychiatrist and she recommended 1,000 mg a day, it helps a lot, it's a natural supplement that our body needs and we don't consume enough of, this one tastes better, so my son doesn't have a hard time taking them, he never liked them due to the after taste, but with this ones he doesn't have a problem

This fish oil is the best quality supplement I have found. It does not taste fishy at all. Various family members have used it when recovering from a head injury and notice a size-able difference in their cognitive ability after taking this

I have been buying these for years. Never had any issues until this one. Sometimes you have to shake the bottle once in awhile as they like to stick together. I get it, they are Gels. This bottle would not loosen up completely when I shook it. I was about a quart of the way through the bottle and had to pry them apart with my finger. I noticed they were starting to feel oily and some had bubbles in them. The bottom of the bottle was a wad of Gels with a pool of oil. Of course I can't return them and now worry if the ones I did take were bad for me.

Honest! I asked a neuroscientist what he took and he named Nordic Naturals. They were they only brand whose quality he could verify. He said that the omegas in fish oil were the best normally available (omegas in most plant products, such as flax seed are NOT epa and dha, but precursors that the body must convert to epa and dha, which it doesn't do efficiently). Omegas are needed to, among other things, maintain the insulating fat cells around the brain's neurons. So, who can tell? I take them regularly now (i'm 70), and may never know for sure whether they did any good, but research seems to indicate it improves you chances of avoiding brain function degeneration. Life's just playing the odds, and i'm trying to improve mine by taking this stuff. Ah, you ask, why four stars instead of five? The strawberry flavor. Honest. Apparently they add this to avoid any "fishy" taste (i don't notice any, but i guess some people are more sensitive). Somehow, i find the strawberry flavor jarring, inconsistent with my expectations in ingesting fish tablets. Ok, weird, but there you are. I still recommend these.
