## Description

ARES 70009 33-Pc Security Torx Bit Set, SAE & Metric Hex, Magnetic Holder | Magnetic Extension Bit Holder; Includes Torq, Spanner & Triwing Bits - desertcart.com

Review: Nice price for lots of options - I bought this because I occasionally take small machines apart and to fix them (like my vacuum) and I got tired of being thwarted by tamper-resistant screws. This set has a lot of different sizes and types for a reasonable price. Normally you only have one or two screws of this type in a job, so I don't expect them to get a ton of use, but it's awful nice to have them on hand when you need them. They come in a little rubber container with a piece that goes over the top and keeps them in place. Compact, secure, and convenient. I'm happy with them.
Review: Great addition to the tool chest - I was in need of some specific sized security bits for some electronic cleaning and repair. I didn't need a huge new screwdriver set that had hundred or more pieces. This was exactly what I needed, a nice clean little assortment that comes in it's own little holder. They seem well constructed and machined properly that they won't strip out the driver or the screw head itself. Very well pleased with this purchase.

## Features

- INCLUDES: This security bit set includes one 2-1/4-inch magnetic extension bit holder with a 1/4-inch hex shank, four tri-wing bits (#1, #2, #3 and #4), six SAE hex bits (5/64 in., 3/32 in., 7/64 in., 1/8 in., 9/64 in., and 5/32 in.), three Torq bits (6mm, 8mm and 10mm), four spanner bits (4mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm), six metric hex bits (2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm), and nine Torx bits (T8, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T35, and T40), everything needed to open tamper-resistant security fasteners in one case.
- QUALITY: These bits are constructed from heat treated chrome vanadium steel, offering superior durability, and are precisely CNC machined, ensuring the tamper holes work every time and greatly reducing the risk of bit shear. The magnetic extension bit holder holds bits securely in place while in use, reducing the risk of bits falling off and into cramped and hard-to-reach areas.
- WHO IT'S FOR: Built for automotive technicians, electronics repair techs, and DIY hobbyists working on tamper-proof screws in automotive service, appliance maintenance, and home good repair. Also handles the security screws used on PS4 and Xbox controllers, so gamers and console modders can get in without a trip to the hardware store.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great addition to the tool chest

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For 10 bills, I recommend!
*by T***D on November 29, 2016*

Nice bit set. I hate that I have to buy this or any security bits for that matter. What, am I a child or a thief,? and if a thief the security bolts would barely slow me down because I can readily buy them on the internets. What a racket! Anyway, these bits were under 10 bucks and enabled me to dis-assemble my Ridgid battery unit to replace the OEM batteries so I only used the T10 bit. It worked well and I may never use the other bits unless I want to dis-assemble a toilet stall or something. Most of the bits are correct, only one bit was off center, (see pics) however other manuf. bits look like crap, (China). Also these bits are made in Taiwan who are not as good as the Japs or Germans but are still very good. Nice pliable case that holds the bits securely. For 10 bills, I recommend!
