Don’t bother with the collection …….don’t waste you money buying on Amazon. Save it cofee
Wow…..what a dissatisfaction and disappointment I am not happy and fell so bad. I was looking forward to a improvement, but forget about it. I would say try the single disk and see if there is a difference in quality I will just use the dvd version until the 4K comes out in like 10 years. Don’t buy this disk

Good Valur
Good Value. Great Films

Two great films, three below average ones
Let's get the great out of the way first: Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles are fantastic films, some of John Hughes best! Now the bad: She's Having A Baby, Pretty In Pink, and Some Kind of Wonderful are very 'meh' films that I am not rushing to rewatch anytime soon. See below for my ratings of the films themselves out of ten: FBDO: 9/10 PTaA: 9/10 SHaB: 2/10 PiP: 3/10 SKoW: 4/10 The Blu-rays for FBDO and PTaA, the two films that are most important to this set, are the same transfers found on the 2009 and 2012 blu-ray releases, respectively. They both desperately need to be remastered by Paramount, but unfortunately, the company is so stingy in releasing older films on Blu-ray (Top Secret!, Fire in the Sky, and Breakdown were released on Blu for the first time by Imprint, an Australian company!) so I doubt we'll get remasters unless they release 4K UHD editions. If you already own FBDO and PTaA, there is no reason to buy this set, even at just $20 ($4 a film).

No Digital copies redeemed in 4k!
There is another review stating that some digital copies redeemed in 4K. I had a different experience. I redeemed all five movie codes through Paramount for Vudu (you have a choice for redemption on Apple or Vudu), and all five redeemed in HDX. Still good for the price, though.

Missing a movie. Ordered twice, still missing one!
Bought 2 of these as gifts, both were missing Some Kind Of Wonderful. Had to exchange for 2 more which ended up still missing the same movie. Would have given 5 stars if it had all the movies because they are great films!

What’s not to like? 5 films for less than £20 (it was on offer). The films aren’t blockbusters, they’re just the films I loved as a teenager. Good drama, good laughs and killer soundtracks. It’s a 10 from me, albeit through rose tinted glasses. Recommended.
