An entire all-weather layering system in one great looking package, the Intervale combines a Marmot MemBrain waterproof shell with a removable Thermal R insulated liner and Storm hood. The color coordinated shell and liner both utilize a Durable Water Repellency finish, so with or without the liner you’ll stay dry and warm.

I bought this jacket because I liked that it is essentially a rain coat and a jacket in one. And wear them together and it's great for super cold weather. Color is pretty especially when you see everyone else always wears black.

I purchased this jacket right after Christmas 2013. We live in Michigan and it arrived January 6, 2014. This was the first of many of the "Polar Vortex" below zero regular temperature days. The jacket held its own in these temperatures and I stayed warm. My previous jacket was a Columbia 3 in 1 that I had for 10 years.
