The width of this scooter is 4.9 instead of 5 inches which I don't get why it's like an inch short T_T Ah well
I was looking for another scooter deck and was going to use it as just a back up in case something happened with my old scooter deck or something, but decided to use this one as the main one I ride to try it out.Best idea ever. This scooter deck is good in many ways. It's solid and is surprisingly good for when I'm jumping over things, riding down hills in the streets, and doing power slides. The width is a bit weird since it's 4.9 rather than 5. [You might as well say 5 inches wide! Could be the concave or something. I dunno. :T ] And the length is perfect! My feet have soo much more space. It reminds me of a mini cruiser board/pennyboard I had when I was 21. I can't do tricks on it, but again, the length is perfect for me since I do long distance riding. That and again, I jump over and off things like curbs and slowly going to ride off stairs when I feel a bit more confident. When you get the deck, I saw that it has a few scratches and small dings, but that stuff doesn't bother me as long as I could put my headset bearings in. I run SCS now than ihc, so to those who are going to ride this scooter with an SCS compression, buy some headset spacers since the headtube is shorter than the average scooter deck. The pro of that is it gives you an extra inch in your bar height; especially if you have an scs compression clamp that will give your bars 2 inches already, making it equal to 2 and a half to 3 inches! You would have to adjust/realign the brake when you get it in the mail since it's a bit crooked, making the polyurethane rub off on one side of the back wheel. You can also change the brake to another or add a cheddie if you need to. It'll be a liiittle bit tricky. I tried it with a Lucky brake but not a cheddie since I ride down hills and need a brake to try and slow down. If you do use the brake, it will take a day to a week to break it in since it has a black gloss, making the brake slick and not gripping the wheel.Aside from those small things, this scooter is good! When I have some money, I will buy this scooter deck again.Best 50 dollars I ever spent!Way...WAAAYYY cheaper than if I got it at the Vault [It's 110+ dollars at the Vault] since I'm on a veeery tight budget. So if you're on a tight budget and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this scooter deck is good!
