So many of the reviewers can't seem to do the math for TOTAL PoE / ports (130W total power for all PoE ports, using 802.11at; is 12.95W ea @ the device), total power isn't sufficient for all ports to be lit with ~13W of PoE on a 24 port switch at one time. This should be obvious to anyone in networking, or someone that can read the specs on the vendor's website. What attracted me most to this switch is that it's convective for cooling (fanless) as opposed to using fans. It sits right next to my office desk. My former switch was fan based and gave me headaches for months, so it had to go. This Zyxel 1900-24EP switch is a fine 'smart' managed' switching product for SOHO as my "aggregation" switch with plenty of capacity to power my access points, my IP phones and my cameras (8 total PoE devices). It's at a decent price that a technical worker can afford, and is reasonably configurable with a decent GUI and a frankly terrible CLI (like I said previously, not an enterprise grade device).
