This worked great, you do need to clean the glass well before attaching it ... but I've only had it fall off once ... and since cleaning it first (as I should have) ... its been rock solid. I prefer this to the suction cup mount everyone normally gets for the Yi. This one is a little more sleek and the mechanism to latch closed the suction cup is nicer, and conforms the the circular shape better. Thanks!** A: I do not think so. The device is designed to hang below the suction cup an pivot. If you were to place the camera up on top, you would need to place it at the bottom of the windshield and hope that the camera was able to lean far enough forward against the windshield to see the road.
