As long as you dont engrave too deeply it should be ok. **Q: how long in freezer does this take to get cold?** A: 3-4 hours **Q: Is the handle part of the mold or just adhered on with glue?** A: i bought this last summer and this morning the handle fell off. It is definitely not part of the mold.
