Love this little thing! I fixed the hole!
My main vacuum cleaner is a rainbow, which I love but to be honest it has some disadvantages, like the weight and inconvenience. I was using a little shop vac in my laundry room and for quick pick ups. I have a couple beagles and one has the softest undercoat and sheds feathery down which can't really be swept up. The little shop vac was unwieldy and large, and the small cordless vacs I've tried in the past were not satisfactory at all. I researched small bagged vacuums and decided on the mity mite. The first one I got from Amazon was used and arrived in pieces in a taped up box with the previous owner label still on it! Shame on you Amazon! I returned it and rolled the dice on another. I'm glad I did. It's perfect for my needs. I have some carpet but mostly wood and tile floors. I also vacuum other things like tables, lampshades, etc, which is why I love a cannister so much. The suction is pretty powerful for such a small machine, and the bags work well and are inexpensive. Like others, I found the suction bypass hole on the handle inconvenient, sometimes pinching my hand. I did a hack though! I put a rubber band around it, and made a line with a silver sharpie. Now it stays closed or open, however I want it. I can visually see by the way the line is if it is open or closed. I've included a couple pics, I hope they illustrate what I did. I keep this one plugged in my laundry room by the kitchen. It's a simple matter to run it in my kitchen, den and hall which is not carpet. I also got a miela (not from Amazon) that I keep at the other end of the house. The cheap mity mite holds it's own in performance. Of course the miela is a little better in most ways but the little eureka is lighter and can get under some of my furniture better. I still get out my rainbow, it has the power head for my carpets, plus the nice smell, but I can now just whip out a vacuum at a moment's notice, it keeps the dust down. It's better to vacuum frequently instead of once a week more thoroughly.

Powerful suction Works awesome
This is one awesome little vacuum cleaner with powerful suction if you ever seen the videos where it shows you that when you vacuum the rug and the suction actually lifts the rug from its foundation it's not a joke it really does it was a bit hard to use the nozzle that came with it on the carpet but I find that after you run the nozzle over the carpet a few times it kind of like mashes down the bristles a little bit makes it a little easier to vacuum the carpet however in the nose of the handle unfortunately if you have large pieces of bread and it doesn't go through the angle of the hose just right to go into the bag it gets caught up in the angle of the hose so you may need something that can bend to push the debris out of the way of the clothes or maybe gently tap it on a hard surface or something to loosen the debris which I had to do so rule of thumb if you have like corn chips that are kind of hard to crumble or you have stale pieces of bread that you accidentally get sucked up into the vacuum you may have a bit of a time trying to get it out so it's too bad that the mighty might doesn't come with something that can help push down the debris that gets stuck in the vacuum cleaner hose but other than that this is a very good vacuum and very well worth the money very satisfied with my purchase

Great Little Vacuum
Have had this vacuum for over 2 yrs and still going strong. Light weight, easy to use, and very powerful. Have mainly bare floors in house and it does the job!!!!. Easy to replace bags and new bags are reasonable priced

Good vacuum at a Good price.
Works great, and has good suction. Its nice that the hose will swivel. And the wheels are wide enough to be stable and not fall over all the time. but, the extensions feel very thin, and do not hold together very well. im expecting them to break. at least they are the same size as my old vacuum's attachments.

Worry the money
This little vacuum is worth its weight in gold. Great suction & easy to handle. Great for dusting. I have three of them! One on each floor of my house.

It is actually a little surprisingly light
Edit, July 2025: It is still going very strong, and I am surprised at how good it is every time I use it. Never ended up getting a new head for it, seems like an extra expense for such a mild inconvenience of picking the hair out of the brush. depends on the user preference, I guess. I do wish the tubes could lock in with a little peg or something, but overall still an insanely good, powerful. lightweight vacuum. just make sure to firmly stick the tubes in there. Could be superglued together, if you don't take it apart to store it. I keep it in the original box in the closet for now. Might glue it once I have more space. Original review, Oct. 2024: Good suction and pretty easy to use. There isn't much more I could want from a vacuum. I can keep it in one of our small cabinets which is also nice. Only real gripe I have with it is that I wish i could attach the head to the body of the vacuum so it can stand on its own if i need to move something. Other than that, solid vacuum for sure. No need to break the bank. Might need to get an attachment for carpet if you have a lot of carpet/rugs. It still works on ours but would be better with an attachment.

NOPE
This is the worst vacuum I have ever bought. I chose it specifically because I read a review that this was a good vacuum for pet hair. I’ve had the vacuum for a while now, and it’s useless. As soon as it picks up any pet hair- it stops working. The pet hair just collects in the hose and it becomes a whole process to clear it out. I’ve tried sweeping up first and different attachments, in hopes of making this work or lightening the load of the vacuum, which defeats the purpose. I finally took it to a local repair shop, thinking I must have done something wrong or be operating it incorrectly for it to be so ineffective. I am not. There’s nothing wrong with this vacuum, it’s just an inadequate product. For those interested, I have one medium sized short hair dog.

Easy to assemble. The hose and the wands are a bit on the cheap plastic side, but I am a careful person and will be using this vacuum strictly on a one bedroom apartment. The first time I turnd it on it smelled of dust, as if it had been used. I opened the lid and made sure the bag was properly placed, and turned it on again. The dust smell went away after using it for a few minutes. I don't find that the bag is held in securely and I've followed the instructions in the owner's guide. For a small vacuum the suction is amazing. The noise is bearable. I wish the attachments were a bit bigger (to clean a couch, it takes a while, if the attachments were bigger, it would clean better). I've used it twice so far and I've found that the handle gets a bit warm, not HOT but warm, hope this doesn't create problems after a while. The cord is long, which is nice in a small apartment and the hose is also long. I can recommend this vacuum but only for a small apartment.
