Does this product leave a bad smell when used on exhaust pipes

It did for me I used it on my mower muffler it did a burn off and then it just crumbled away I don't recommend it for exhaust I tried it 3 different times and followed the directions and same results

Will this product act as a glue that can bond new metal plating to rusted (cleaned) steel plate and withstand wood burning fire inside H20 boiler?

I used this to hold a ceramic plate in place under 360 degree heat and it didn't work at all. It got all soft again as soon as it got hot

Can this product weld aluminum?

Epoxy resin will not "weld" aluminum. If the surfaces of the aluminum pieces are clean and free of grease or oil, epoxy will bond the two parts with surfaces having epoxy between them in a very durable way. No glue of any sort is any good for bonding the thin edges of flat aluminum or any other metal. You must have a fair amount of surface covered with epoxy to effectively "bond" the surfaces together. The surface will never be "welded" together, that requires metal to metal fusion, very high temperatures and special welding equipment.

Can this product be powder coated?

Hi. I'm going to say yes because once it hardens 5 to 7 minutes after application, it's on solid and strong. You can sand, paint or add a second adhesive and it will stay bonded so powder coating should be fine.
