I purchased this horn along with the Viair 10007 onboard air kit, wanting the deep tone of a truck, rather than the piercing tone of a train. The horn delivers that well. We've only had the setup for a couple weeks, so I cannot speak to the longevity, but I am very happy with the performance out of the box, installed on my 2022 F-350. We followed the installation as shown in a recent Keep Your Daydream (Youtube) episode, and it worked as planned. I use upfitter switch #2 to power the compressor and switch #1 to light up the horn. Pay attention to the air kit used with this horn. I needed to order the Vixen 1/4 NPT 3/8 OD fitting for the other end of the air hose, as the Vixen horn uses a larger hose than the Viair kit. This is a good thing.

The actual product is cheap, straight from China, the same factory that makes furniture, four wheelers, and children's toys, all shipped out in brown boxes. I recommend getting your own dot air brake fittings, and your own 3/8" air brake line. The tank is nice. Compressor is kind of weak, and the first one broke quickly. A solenoid was also missing. Wow, what cheap stuff, right? All that being said, do not hesitate to buy anything from hooked on tronics. Like I said , the kit is cheap, but hooked on tronics did not stop helping me, sending me missing parts, and sent me a new compressor on the road mind you, all quickly, and free. If you have any issues, they will respond quickly, and make it right. I bought two horns, and mounted them on the roof of my travel trailer, wired them to my steering wheel button of the tow vehicle. Sounds exactly like a semi tractor trailer. Kids cheer and laugh every time it's used, and wife does the opposite. If you buy, just leave yourself time to fool with the setup, and hooked on tronics will not quit until your happy.

Installed it in my RV. Love the deep and loud sound. Installation was pretty easy: I ran a high-pressure air line to it and wired the built-in relay to my horn circuit.

Horn cover fell off in 3 days. Very bad quality. Chrome plated aluminum. Corroded bad after 1 month.

Excelente, suena super

The horn on my F350 is meager. If some has their music up they aren’t going to hear it. I wanted something to grab their attention. This horn doesn’t disappoint.
