These pasta bowls are not just for pasta! I use them for single serves of salads, fried rice, noodles, soup and more! I would call them multi-purpose bowls. They are so versatile in my home. The Blue Italian is an elegant Spode design and looks good on my table.

Very well packaged. Had read a few comments about them arriving broken, worried needlessly. I was and am intrigued by the design. Thought the pattern would have a name. Just called Italian. The dish can tell a different story every time it is used. The bowls are not heavy earthenware, imagine they will chip or break if abused. Can be washed in a dishwasher, used in a microwave, made for modern times. I love them.
