Review: Great lessons for litle ones! - Purchased for my 3 year old. She loves books and absobs messages like a sponge so these types of books are great for teaching her key life lessons. We liked this book - content is easy to read, end to end story is long enough for a sit down, but not too long to loose attention. Key messages are great, only the illustrations let it down a little, hence 4 star. Overall, great book and would recommend :) Review: I have seen some reviews that are critical of the illustrations. I find them to be sweet and a bit nostalgic. I did not have any issues with printing or paper quality. To be perfectly honest the message is more important to me. The book is a perfect introduction to observing and acknowledging differences between us all, whether that be our colour of skin or mode of transportation (walking, wheelchair, crutches etc) and my 2.5 year old twins love it. A great way to get the conversation rolling to be followed up with something a bit more substantial as they grow.

This is a wonderful books for children to begin learning about diversity and to foster discussions about how everyone is different, and that it ok. The book reinforces that we should always be kind to those different from us. Illustrations are wonderful and captured the attention of my 4 year old. Highly recommend.

I love it.
