Is this supposed to actually help your hair grow long faster?

If you mean grow long as in the hair from your scalp is growing faster then no. However, it helps the strands of hair from splitting and breaking as it grows. This in turn helps your hair get to longer lengths since it doesn’t split or have little bits snap off as much. I still color my hair at the usual times but my hair is longer since the ends are stronger.

Is this the product that you leave in for a few minutes and rinse out?

Yes, I would reccomend running a comb, pick, or your fingers, through your hair while applying the grow long repairing mask, then let it sit for 3-5 minutes; every other wash.

Do you use shampoo before or after?

I like to use shampoo first so that my hair is clean and free from any product buildup. Then I towel dry so my hair is damp but not dripping wet and apply this hair mask :)
