This is the first net we have purchased, but the e-book instructions made it very easy to learn how to use. We have been very please with all that we have been able to catch. The materials seems strong and durable. We have not had any issues with the net getting tangled. I like that you can attach it to your body, so you don't accidentally use it especially since we have zero experience. It is a great net that can be used by beginners or more experienced people.

I have only used it once, but I can tell this thing is going to last a while. It worked great, threw amazingly, handling it was easy, much better then my old one. The size is perfect, it seems durable, the weight is perfect, I’m very impressed.

I wanted to really refine my "Casting Skills" Always seemed that the nets I'd purchase from Walamrt/Academy werent very durable, or easy to use. I purchased this one, I believe 6ft/7ft. Followed instructions to a T, and my casting skills are better than ever. Not to mention it holds up fairly well, and is easy to reset after a throw. Will still break some of the crosses when tangled with branches but thats because I wasn't very gentle. 100% better than the retail brands.

The net (6ft) has a good amount of weights and the quality feels good. My son has been using a 3 ft and wanted to upgrade him to a bigger one. The rope on this net has an ankle strap so you can freely throw the net and still have it secured after tossing it. Haven't been able to use it yet but throwing in the yard, it has a good feel to it. Comes packed nicely and line isn't tangled like the other net gets when I store it when not being used.

Update: seller responded to my message within 24hrs and offered to issue a full refund. The net may not be the greatest but I couldn’t ask more out of a seller.Worst net I’ve ever used…..maybe I got a bad one but I have bought many nets over the last 20 years, some better than others but mostly cheaper 6-8ft nets (all under $100) and I recently purchased this net and noticed it come with a repair tool, which I thought was pretty cool. We all know cast nets get holes over time.I received the net last week and was somewhat impressed at first, I threw it a few times and it would open to a full circle but retract about 2ft soon as it hit the ground, so I tried to hand it up and stretch it out and accident ripped a small hole in the bottom of the net close to the headline. I soaked the net and softened it up and was able to get the net to open fully without it retracting. Well problem solved.I took it to the lake yesterday and tried it out for real and let me say this is absolutely the easiest net to rip that I have ever used in my life. Within 20 throws the lead line started to unravel at the bottom, I ripped several small holes in the net removing pencil size sticks and gumballs from the net. Which I’ve never had happen before.. I threw the net against a bridge pylon and the net grabbed the edge of the concrete, happens all the times , with any net Uber ever used I’ve been able to give it a gentle pull and release the net from the pylon, tried it with this net and it ripped a 2-3” hole in the net.Long story short this net didn’t last full trip, and looking back having the net repair tool included in the box should have been a sign, it’s the only net I’ve ever seen that includes a repair tool and now I see why.I have received messages from the seller to review this net and wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I have let them know how disappointed I am with this net and I’m awaiting a response. Between the holes and leadline falling apart it is not returnable at this point and would take a season net expert to hours to repair and would likely cost more than what the net cost.There are much better and stronger cast nets in this price range.

Very good net. Throws really easy and the bottom webbing is much better than on other nets I’ve thrown. Love this net and will definitely be a repeat buyer.
