I purchased this item for a motorcycle holiday to Europe. Bought two for my son and I and we found them really quick and easy to use, strong and very comfortable. If you want to leave your hands free when walking around/site seeing with your crash hat then this is the item for you. Just remember your carrying your crash hat or you might bash it into door frames etc as you forget your carrying it as its so comfortable. Highly recommend.

This strap is one of my go-to accessories. I've also used it for many things other than a helmet: anything you can wrap a strap into, you can now carry on your back! CAUTION: it is easy to accidentally release the strap via its quick-release pull. I've done this by brushing my jacket against it the wrong way once, but in the last couple years haven't had any other issues with it.
