The squares measure 10 x 10 inches (or 25.4 x 25.4 cm) so it depends on the size of the opening of your 10L crock. You will want enough room for the cloth to hang over the sides and allow them to be secured by the rubber band. The typical opening of a 1-gallon jar is about 4 inches (10.16 cm) and these allow for more than enough room.
