I love this brand and it normally stays in quite a while as long as you wash with cooler water. This time I didn't lighten my hair properly lol so it faded quickly near the roots but that was totally my bad. I'm completely satisfied with the color itself it is vibrant and beautiful.

As a professional, I can say from experience this is a great color line. I use this on my hair over more "professional" brands because it makes my hair feel soft, the color is vibrant, and it lasts without fading right away. Ive used most of the colors on my hair at one point or another and they are all good!

It works! I did a test strip as soon as I got it. My hair is naturally light brown, but I have some grown out light to medium blonde highlights. I left the product on for about an hour, undiluted, to see how it'd take before doing more and possibly fudging up my hair. This is a semi permanent colour, which means there is no developer to open the cuticle and deposit the dye, so it essentially is just coating your strands like conditioner would. If you have previously bleached or highlighted hair, it will have some porosity making it more likely the hair will take up the colour. If you're doing this on virgin hair, i.e. the cuticle is fully intact and not porous, this will likely fade quickly if it takes at all, because it's basically just slipping off like conditioner. Since this is a lavender purple, your hair needs to be lighter to see results. Think about it like a purple highlighter on paper. It'll show up really well if the paper is white, but not at all if the paper is black. If your hair isn't white or light blonde, remember to consider the colour wheel when applying. Purple is across from yellow, so applying this to yellow or orange hair is likely to just cancel out and create a sort of muddy brown colour. As far as the product itself, it works if you keep the above criteria in mind. It's conditioning, not drying, and has a really sweet sort of grapey scent. Can't comment on how it will fade just yet, but as with all semi permanent colours, that will depend on how much your hair grabbed onto it.

So, the color is nice and easy to apply. And it smells pleasant. My only issue is the color. I'm medium blonde but have colored it lavender for years. Since my natural color started to get darker, I lightened first. While the color is bright, it doesn't look like pastel lavender. It seems to really lean pinkish purple which isn't the outcome I was hoping for. I look like a jellybean lol! Hopefully this will help someone as far as the shade accuracy.

I'm always on the look out for a pastel purple that won't fade to pink after a few weeks. I saw this one advertised as "pale lavender" and I was intrigued. In my mind, lavender being a grayish or smoky pale purple. tl;dr but it's just a regular pastel purple that would have faded to pink if I hadn't manually added a ton of gray to it. The scent and ease of use is all fine and normal. This is a tint, not a dye, so you essentially just apply it to freshly bleached hair, and as long as you make sure you're evenly covering, it's almost foolproof. You MUST have bleached your hair. I don't care how "naturally blonde" it flatters your ego to think you or your child are. If you haven't bleached as light as you can, except mediocre-to-no results. This is on YOU, not the product. My major complaint, and the reason I wouldn't bother to buy again, is that I get about half the amount of tint as Arctic Fox, for almost the same price. And if I'm not getting any kind of better color, then obviously there's no point. As it happens, I had the forethought to buy a bottle of Arctic Fox silver to supplement, because looking at the ounces I'd get with this product, I suspected I wouldn't have enough to tint my whole head (correctly). I used all of this product, and about 3/4 of the Arctic Fox bottle. You can see the results in the last photo. I'm pleased enough with the result, but that's ONLY because I mixed a ton of gray in. I left one strip of my bangs this color alone, no gray, just to see how it would fade, and a few weeks later, that strip is a much brighter pink, whereas the rest of my hair is pretty much gray with no purple. So, bottom line, if you want just a normal pastel purple that will likely fade to pale pink before it dies off (dyes off?), this is a fine tint for that. If you wanted something cooler that would fade to silver or gray, this is not that. Also, you can get an almost identical result from Arctic Fox "Girls Night" for essentially half the price, so... why wouldn't you?
