This is a cold water bidet, but it's not as bad as you think. Keep in mind, hot water bidets typically have to connect to your sink. If your toilet is not directly next to your sink, it can work but you will need to run a long stainless steel hose back to your bidet which might not look attractive. Hello, it sounds like the bidet is misaligned. You will need rotate the round plates on the bidet until the angle is right.
