Nice electric power washer
Well first off I actually have a gas powered pressure washer and I have the Karcher electric power washer. The gasoline power washer is way more powerful than the electric power washer. But it requires me to run the engine more often because of the ethanol additive which can gum up your carburetor. So it’s kinda of a pain. However with the electric power washer it’s almost as powerful, but then you don’t have to worry about getting gasoline and running the motor frequently so that it doesn’t gum up. The electric power washer is NICE. One thing I want to mention is the spray wand is kinda sensitive, you have to be careful with the spray tip. I actually broke my spray tip, and I had to order a new one and then it worked perfectly. The only downside to this power washer is the hose, it can be a little temperamental. And sometimes getting the hose fitting to go in the spray wand can be a difficult sometimes. You just have to look in the spray wand and then turn the hose fitting to get it to go in. Other than that it works great. I used it to power wash my white plastic fence. Our homeowners association requires everyone to install white plastic fence in their backyard and occasionally you have to power wash it. I recommend getting the spray tip canister. Sold separately. It’s like 27 dollars or something. It’s not too expensive. And they sell a detergent solution for the spray canister. You only need to put a small amount of that stuff and then fill it up the rest of the way with water. Shake it a little and spray it on your car. Works great. I don’t really have any complaints about it, except the hose. Other than that it works great

Nice Pressure washer...
Be sure you keep your expectations realistic. I replaced my 10+ year old 2100psi 2GPM gasoline pressure washer with this 2000psi 1.4GPM Karcher K5 expecting it to be similar in power. It's not. They are up front that it's 0.6 gallons per minute less. My fault for not grasping how much less that really is...the GPM is what really counts. Don't get me wrong, it works really nice for washing the cars with the variable nozzle, and the turbo nozzle is nice too for blowing the dirt off the walkway. I just cant imagine it doing very well with things like cleaning the algae off the siding on the north end of my house and tougher stuff like that. The good part though... is I don't have to worry about accidentally harming the finish on my cars softer plastic bits and I'm not worried about my wife being able to use it with ease. It is really nice, and Electric is so easy .. no pulling the cord 5-10 times, no gas cans, no oil changes, no treating fuel for the winter... just hook up the hose, plug in the power, and wash. This is a really nice, feature rich unit that feels high quality. It would have been nice if they provided a hose that isn't so stiff...It's not the plastic junk that some come with, but it's also not the more flexible stuff like expensive units. It doesn't come off the reel easy, and as the curves stay in it when its not taught, you gotta be careful around the car as it doesn't just lay on the ground and can spring up and hit the car while you are moving around. Still ok... just a gripe I have. I do recommend this unit for general home use and car washing.

Hunk of Junk!!!
If I could give this -100, stars, I would. I did some research, and this kept coming up as one of the best so I took advantage of the recent Prime deals and bought it. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell that the quality wasn't the greatest... in fact, it feels pretty cheap. II am the IKEA Queen! and love putting things together, but when I tell you that this was the most frustrating thing to assemble! Oh boy! The instructions are not helpful, the pictures are very small and there is no description. I didn't think that such a highly recommended item would require this amount of assembly. I tried looking up videos which weren't helpful. I managed to finally set it all up and was ready to go to town cleaning everything in my path. Yeah, right!!! This water spitting machine is a failure! I adjusted the "pressure", fiddled with the buttons, connected, and reconnected everything to no avail. The pressure is nonexistent no matter what I did. The pressure from my hose without a nozzle is 1,000 times more powerful. This would make a lovely flower waterer. I should have just taped the box back up and returned it immediately when I saw the cheap plastic this is made of. Now I'm afraid that disassembling this will cause something to break, but I will definitely be returning this.

High quality washer for the money
Great alternative to loud, messy gas-powered washers. This product shipped and arrived as expected. Assembly was easy and directions easy to follow. The washer is compact, looks sharp and washes just as well as my previous gas-powered washer. The cord length is sufficient to cover a large area. Easy to maneuver, and light weight compared to other bulky washers. Two wands give you options for washing without damage to property. Both wands are very sturdy and work well on even the most stubborn stains.. The power is plenty sufficient to clean siding, cement, brick, sidewalks, driveways and patios. Great value for the money. The front plate prevents tipping, but does pop off fairly easily if the washer is pushed too far forward. Be careful when purchasing other attachments, as the wand configuration does not support some attachments that work with other washer brands.

Awesome pressure washer
I originally bought this because it can feed water out of a bucket. My house has horrible water pressure. You're lucky if I get a 1/2 a gallon, a minute, so I had to find something that would feed out of the bucket and this one Is awesome. I was actually quite surprised how much pressure it had just sucking it out of a bucket, but this was well worth the money, even though I'm pretty sure I got it When it was on sale for like $200, which is an awesome deal. You do have to buy the extension suction hose separately. But it's no big deal. Amazon has that in stock, too.

Great Pressure Washer
I'll start with the bad just to get it out there. The assembly instructions, especially for a seasoned mechanic, were a little tricky. Only because the illustrations were a little hard to see where parts were going on and how. Process of elimination and years of putting things together helped me, but could be challenging for others. Now the positives. The accessories all have a place to go on this unit. The two changeable wands, the hose adapter, and the soap tank, all stay with the pressure washer making it less likely you'll misplace something. The wheels make it very easy to move as it is a little heavier than you'd thing by just looking at it. The hose reel makes storing very easy. Compared to the other Karcher pressure washer I had long ago, the addition of a power light on the GFI is hugely helpful. Makes it very easy to see if the GFI is supplying power or not without constantly pressing the test and reset button, trying to hear the click to see if it is on. The soap dispenser on this unit actually works as expected. Put the soap in the back, set the pressure to low/soft, adjust the flow rate of the soap, and you're set. Works perfectly!

O
I find this underpowered and have never gotten the soap dispenser to work. I did not pay enough attention to the description as it is obvious it's underpowered. I wonder about the picture showing the rotary cleaner head functioning but neither of my two heads work at all. The soap dispenser is so simple in function but I guess I'm even more simple as it JUST WON'T WORK!!! My last Karcher simply because of lack of power. Good quality, though. I usually pay close attention to product reviews but now see lots of reviews done through Vinewhatever. Completely discount those reviews. Probably go back to an ic model, love to find a diesel.

Good electric pressure washer from Karcher
Read a lot of reviews about pressure washers: different makes, models, types etc. And finally decided to stop on Karcher. I know that chinese analogs with same specs are cheaper: sun joes, greenworks etc. And somewhere has better specs but I saw a lot of reviews on YouTube where complained about real values and quality. So I’ve got k5.740 and here my review. Overall quality: Many questions here where it was made. It made in China. But I wouldn’t say that’s bad. The Apple makes all its stuff in China as well so it’s just what quality standards companies use for production. When I opened the box everything inside has been packed very well. No any weird cheap plastic smells or leaks (oils or lubricants). Assembling hints: - use silicon spray for connectors what has rubber rings (pressure hoses). It prevents any damage and leaks then. And it will be easier to assemble. Assemble is pretty straight forward, there is nothing hard. If you’d like to use extension cord - please use at least 14/3 gauge cord. It says: motor needs 15 Amp. So I’ve found 50’ cord at HomeDepot with 15amp max. First use: When you connect water hose DO NOT ON washer!! Just allow water to come out of the gun by regular water pressure. It will remove all air from pump and hoses. After 10-15 seconds you can power on washer. Using: I was really impressed how powerful it is. I cleaned my deck in 20 minutes I think. Please check my pics and video. And another one thing: it’s soooo quiet!! I’d think my neighbors happy by this fact as well. :)) Motor has automatic start/stop function but if I fill that I need pause more than one minute I prefer to power off it and drop the pressure. When I ready to continue - just power on it again. Overall thoughts: Pros: high quality easy to use good power water consumption quiet motor Cos plastic wheels, I’d prefer if they’d be with rubber coat soap function is not good. I’ve ordered external foam cannon a bit heavy for my wife :))
