when I finally got the thermometer it only worked for a week before it stoped working.

These items work just like advertised. They are able to be calibrated and come with instructions – they are as good as any analog A/C thermometers I've seen! And the price is unbeatable! I have them in the dashboards of my vehicles and it is easy to determine the operation and level of efficiency of the A/C systems (not to mention when it says 40°F, you know you're getting cooled down [for my wife] LOL!)

This thermometer provides a reading within 2 seconds of inserting it into your meat. Couldnt be happier

I purchased this thermometer solely to use during the refilling of my car's ac refrigerant. Because of this, I needed a thermometer with a wide temperature range and food thermometers didn't meet that requirement. It was easy to adjust compared to my other thermometer from Supco (for some reason that one was just a bear to turn the nut). The dial is also easy to read, in that the lettering was crisp and clear, so the attention to detail is there. Accuracy and readability are all I would ask of a measuring instrument and this satisfies both. Because of this, I would purchase again.
