Transmission Pressure Switches Set,Automatic Transmission 2ND - 3RD Gear Oil Pressure Sensor Switch for 28600-P7W-003 28600-P7Z-003

My neighbors car had the flashing D. She took it to the shop and they told her that it would need a new transmission. Since the transmission did not slip, I thought it was odd. I scanned the 2008 Hinda pilot and saw that there was a transmission code. Looked up the code and found the diagnostic chart. Used a DVOM and found the switch was open. Ordered these switches and installed. The flashing D did not come back and it shifts fine. These are a quarter of the price of the cost at the dealer. Time will tell how long they last. One note. The new switches come with a rubber oring and not the metal seal washer that came from the factory. Since the case of the transmission does not provide a recess for the oring to properly seat, I reused the metal sealing washers and have not had any leaks.

I installed this part today because I had the flashing green D light. (2002 Acura RSX base) so install was pretty easy once you take out battery, battery tray, and air box. I wasn’t sure which sensor goes where since I got the two. Oem are green and blue, these were black and brown. Top sensor easy bottom sensor is the tricky one. Once the bottom sensor came out trans fluid will leak, so you have to be quick. I just put the sensors in, put everything back together and did idle relearn procedure. Car drives fine, trans fluid still full, we’ll see how long it last. But good learning experience. Good part and price shipping was fast as well.

Horrible, material is garbage, broke inside transmission during installation, I do not recommend, I just went with the oem!

Installed them last week and they seem to be working fine I’ll up date the post if they fail but so far they have been working great. Car shifts up smoothly.

I'm not a mechanic and I didn't install these, however we purchased them and a friend made the repairs to our car. One was installed easily and the other apparently was very difficult, simply because of where it is located on the car. However our car no longer shows the check engine light, or flashing "D" light while driving and drives smoothly at all speeds. We have an 2007 Honda Civic. 7.15.2023 Update: More than 2 years later and no issues.

The parts were not the correct ones for my car / they said they were but were not correct said they would fit a Honda pilot 2011 but the wire connection was incorrect
