I don't straighten my hair very often because I usually braid it back and wear it under a wig but sometimes I do straighten it to do a length check and see how much longer my hair has gotten over the past few months. I have a straightener that I normally use after I blow dry it and it works well enough but I wanted an upgrade.I liked that it's a lot smaller in size compared to my old straightener so it didn't make my hand tired as fast when I was using it. Now for the cons-There's no way to check the temp so you don't know when it's fully heated and ready to use or even what temperature it's on so if you have thinner hair you don't know if this is at 250 or 450-There's no way to close it and keep it closed which makes storage frustrating and a little dangerous to have it always sitting open wherever you do your hair-The temperature changes constantly and the reason I know that is because certain sections of my hair would be straight after one pass and certain sections looked like I only went over them with a blowdryerWhen all was said and done my hair looked awful and instead of wearing it straight for a few days like I normally do I ended up just braiding it back and wasting a few hours of time getting it kinda straight. Definitely not worth it at all
