BBTO Graphite Stir Rod, 12 Inch Length, 5/16 Inch Diameter (3 Pieces) for Melting, Casting, Refining Gold, Silver, Copper

All 3 pieces came perfectly intact and had Bubble mailer and a nice solid box. Idk how others have broke, maybe mine was lucky. I did snap 1 in half to test the durability (and I needed a shorter stick), it was pretty tough. Almost like snapping a pencil. The pieces are worth it.

I used these as electrodes on an electrolysis machine that I use to make hypochlorous acid (for cleaning). They work great. I'm still on my first pair and have made about 20 gallons so far.

Long and fragile. I do wish there was a tapered ebd or maybe even a spoon shape, but the work well for what they are. Though they are brittle, and even a slight bump or tap can snap them.

Quality graphite stir rods. Great value for the money.

They work great as long as they’re not broken during delivery. Had a couple that got busted in transport. The box had been put in with other Amazon things. Main box had some damage from handling is my guess

I love using these rods to check on my metals to see if they’re completely melted since I currently don’t have an industrial thermometer gun, this is an old fashioned way of checking if your metals are thoroughly melted.

Gotta skim when cleaning impurities out of metals! Don’t forget borax!

Too Thin, They need to make the Rods Thicker! Breaks with the slightest pressure. They are cheap but also very cheaply made! Don't Waste Your Money!

The graphite stir sticks work well, but they all arrived broken. The box they are shipped in is not sturdy enough for the shipping. The only option was a refund and return, no replacement, so I decided to keep them since they still have one section that is long enough for small crucibles

Not sure why but when using they seem too just break apart. So I just use my tongs now for stirring.
